eMSA Strategy Saves Client Over $46,000

At the request of a client, Sanderson Firm submitted an evidence-based MSA (eMSA) totaling $17,272 to CMS, which relied on evidence-based guidelines to reflect a clinically defensible and more realistic future medical exposure that fit within their settlement parameters.  A traditional WCMSA, using CMS’ standards which are known to result in overfunding, would have totaled $64,000. CMS approved the eMSA as submitted, which resulted in over $46,000 in savings to our client.
